Sir Timothy, Wirehaired Dachshund - Raku Animal Sculpture

A show ring, work ready Wirehaired Dachshund,  I'd love to claim Sir Timothy was based on my WHD Timmy, but our Timmy is a total scruff pot and is more at home upside down in front of the fire. What a character though.

Raku firing gives a unique crackle glaze and soft smoky finish. All my ceramic sculptures are made by hand from clay so no two can ever be the same. They are then then twice fired before careful cleaning and finishing. Look out for the brass button featuring my elephant logo, this is your guarantee of an original piece
