I wanted to paint a large cheetah since my return from Phinda Game Reserve in 2016, we saw cheetahs everyday and each encounter was so different from the previous days experience it made me realise that my cheetah portrait had to be unique and to stand out from the crowd, not just another cheetah on a mound.

Then, while out for a wander we passed an old ruined church local to my home, the elegant window appertures caught my eye and just said "cheetah", now call it divine inspiration if you like I just hope you like my tribute to this beautiful, elegant cat.
